The Order Names a New President

2007 inductee Mary Begia has been selected to serve as the next President

of the Order of the Cascaron. She will assume the office later this year after having

served as our group’s Secretary for the two years immediately prior to her selection

in January 2019 as President.

Mary was inducted into the Order after holding various positions on the FSAC’s

Executive Committee including President in 2010. Her Fiesta involvements have been

particularly associated with the Miss Fiesta San Antonio Scholarship Pageant, heading

its Board of Directors as President for two terms in 2001 and 2002.

As President of the Order, Mary will also be seated once again in the familiar

venue of FSAC’s Executive Committee.
